Rohtak Army Recruiting Office Invites Applications for Soldier Posts

The Indian Army is going to conduct a recruitment drive at the Rajeev Gandhi Stadium in Rohtak city from August 03 to 12, 2018, for candidates from Rohtak, Panipat, Jhajjar, and Sonipat. Interested candidates from these four Haryana cities can apply for posts of Soldier (General Duty), and Soldier (Store Keeper Technical), or Soldier (Clerk) through Army’s official website to take part in the recruitment rally.

The last date of submitting the online application is slated for July 18. So, if you meet the eligibility criteria, and are ready to serve the nation, apply for the Soldier posts on time to partake in the Open Bharti Rally. Joining Indian Army is an aspiration for youth of a certain age bracket. Still, it takes an agile body and mind to clear the physical test, followed by written and medical exams and personal interview to join Army. Before getting to that stage, make sure you have the following qualifications to apply for the posts.

Educational Qualification

For Soldier (General Duty), the candidates should have passed Matriculation with 45 percent total marks, and 33 percent in individual subjects. However, mark percentages are not stipulated as a requirement if you have Intermediate or above. Note that candidates who passed Class 10 in Grading System should have at least D-Grade in individual subjects, and a total of 4.75 points or C-2 Grade.

For Soldier (Clerk or Store Keeper Technical), the candidates should have passed Intermediate with 50 percent marks in every subject, and 60 percent aggregate. Further, the candidates should have learned English and Mathematics/Accounts/Bookkeeping in Class 12 or 10, with 50 percent marks in those subjects also. Even if candidates have a higher qualification, the Class 12 marks percentage is applicable to qualify for the posts.

The minimum height and weight for Soldier (General Duty) candidates are 170 centimeters and 50 kilograms respectively. Further, the soldier aspirants should also have a minimum chest of 77 centimeters with 05 centimeters expansion.

On the other hand, the candidates who wish to apply for Soldier (Clerk or Store Keeper Technical) posts should be 162 centimeters tall and weigh 50 kilograms as a minimum. They should also have the same chest criteria as stipulated for the Soldier (General Duty) post.
