Well, the Indian Army does not give any kind of training. However, it is important that you practice hard to make sure that you are physically fit and have the endurance to do well in the physical fitness tests conducted by the Indian Army.
Running 1.6 KM within 5 mins 40 seconds is no easy task, neither is taking 10 pull-ups at one stretch. Further, there would be a 9 feet ditch jump and a balancing beam test. To do well in all these tests one has to practice and practice really hard.
