Opportunities in Indian Navy – Technical Branch (Naval Architecture)

The Indian Navy has the following positions to be filled in by deserving Male and Female candidates in the Technical Branch (Naval Architecture) under the Officer Category.

Role:- Naval Architects specialize in warship and submarine constructions. A Naval Architect is involved in design, construction, quality control, repair and construction of Naval vessels.

Eligibility Criteria:-

Age: 19 1/2 to 25 years, the candidate should be born between 2nd July 1991 and 1 Jan 1997, both dates inclusive.

Education: BE/B.Tech with minimum 65% marks aggregate from a recognized university in one of the below mentioned streams:

Aeronautical / Aerospace
Naval Architecture
Height and weight – Minimum height of 157 cm for men and 152 cm for women with correlated weight.

Eye-Sight – Without glasses 6/60 (6/60) with glasses 6/12 (6/12).

Tattoo – Permanent body tattoo on any part of the body is allowed to candidates belonging to tribal communities/areas as declared by the Indian Government. For other candidates, permanent body tattoos are only permitted on the inner face of forearms, i.e. from inside of elbow to the wrist and the reverse side of palm/back side of hand.
