The Indian Navy is in need of deserving male candidates for the Electrical (L) Branch under Technical Branch (General Service) in the Officer Category.
Role:- The technical officer is responsible for keeping the naval ships and aircraft fighting fit at all times. They handle state of the art weapons (Gunnery, Missiles and Anti-Submarine) and propulsion systems (Gas Turbines, Steam and Diesel Engines)
Age: 19 1/2 to 25 years, the candidate should be born between 2nd July 1991 and 1 Jan 1997, both dates inclusive.
Education: BE/B.Tech with minimum 65% marks aggregate from a recognized university in one of the below mentioned streams:
Instrumentation and Control Engineering
Electronics and Instrumentation
Electronics and Communication
Height and weight – Minimum height of 157 cm with correlated weight.
Eye-Sight – Without glasses 6/24 (6/24) with glasses 6/6 (6/6).
Tattoo – Permanent body tattoo on any part of the body is allowed to candidates belonging to tribal communities/areas as declared by the Indian Government. For other candidates, permanent body tattoos are only permitted on the inner face of forearms, i.e. from inside of elbow to the wrist and the reverse side of palm/back side of hand.
