The Indian Army recruitment board is organizing Bharti Rally 2016-17 in almost all parts of the country to recruit eligible and interested candidates for various posts. The Bharti Rally at Hamirpur, will be held from January 5 to 15, 2017.
The Indian Army organizes Bharti Rally every year and the posts offered during this rally usually include Soldier Clerk/SKT, Soldier Technical, Soldier GD, Soldier Nursing Assistant, and Soldier Tradesman. However, the Indian Army has slightly changed the selection procedure this year. The details on the new selection model are described below.
Candidates, who are planning to apply for the post of Soldier Technical, must pass 12th standard with a minimum of 45 percent mark in Maths, Physics, Chemistry, and English. In addition to that, candidates should also have a minimum aggregate of 50 percent mark in class 10, completed from a recognized board of education in India.
Candidates applying for the post of Soldier General Duty must have passed out with a minimum aggregate of 50 percent marks in both class 10 and 12. The Army recruitment officials will discard applications from candidates, who fail to meet the educational requirements criteria.
Candidates, who wish to apply for the post of Soldier Tradesman must either pass 8th or 10th standard, whereas candidates applying for the post of Soldier Clerk/SKT should have secured at least 50 percent marks in class 12 from a recognized board of education in India.
Indian Army recruitment officers will initially review the applications received from the candidates. After reviewing the applications, eligible candidates will be selected for the recruitment rally. Candidates will have to undergo a physical test, medical test, and a written examination as a part of the recruitment process. The selection of the candidates will be based on their performance in each of the above tests.
The minimum age limit required to participate in the Army recruitment rally and to apply for the above posts is 18 years, whereas the maximum age limit is 23 years.
Candidates who are selected for the recruitment rally must bring their Character Certificate, Domicile Certificate, Caste Certificate, 10th and 12th standard mark sheet, and Birth Certificate, while attending the recruitment rally.
A significant thing to make sure is that the Character Certificate should be signed by a Sarpanch or an Army authorized personnel, and it should not be older than six months. The candidates must also bring their NCC Certificate, if applicable.
