Indian Army Recruitment Rally In Nagaland

The Indian Army’s PRO Defence has announced an Army recruitment rally in Nagaland from May 18 to May 23, 2017. Primarily focused on the youth, the rally is scheduled to be held at the Indira Gandhi Stadium, Kohima, for enrolling male candidates into the Indian Army. The recruitment will serve the numerous vacant posts in the Army such as soldier General Duty, Soldier Technical, Soldier Clerk/Store Keeper Technical/Inventory Management, Soldier-Nursing Assistant, and Tradesmen categories.

Candidates applying for the posts will undergo a screening process as per the date prescribed on the admit card. This is also dependent on the total number of online applications made in each category. The admit cards would be available after applying online through the official Indian Army recruitment website. District wise clubbing of the candidates will be carried out after generating the admit card and on the basis of production. The online application submission window is open now and will remain open until May 12, 2017.

For the recruitment rally, the candidates must report at the rally site at 05:00 am as per the dates prescribed in the admit card. To enroll in the Army recruitment rally, willing candidates can apply only once and those who have applied more than once would be deemed disqualified to appear for the recruitment. However, candidates that have registered for the previous recruitment rally can also apply by checking the availability by logging in to their profiles.

Candidates can access their admit cards, which will be generated by the ARO, Rangapahar on May 13, 2017. The admit cards will be forwarded to their registered e-mail ID, which can then be printed. Besides, candidates can also log in with their given ID at the recruitment site for generating the admit card by clicking on the Admit Card option and providing the issued roll number.

A notification from the PRO Defence stated that candidates from Peren and Phek districts will get the admit cards on May 18, whereas candidates from Kiphire, Zunheboto, and Longleng districts will receive the admit cards on the next day. Candidates from Wokha, Mokokchung, Tuensand, Mon, Dimapur, and Kohima districts will receive the admit cards on May 20, 21, and 22 respectively.

The written exams for the above mentioned vacant posts will be conducted at Rangapahar on July 30, 2017 with the exception of Soldier Nursing Assistant, which will be conducted at the Recruiting Office Headquarters in Shillong on the same date. Candidates are requested to check the rally poster posted on each DC offices and PRO for verifying age criteria, required certificates, and other details.
