Officials from the Indian Armed Forces recently announced that the Indian Army would be conducting a recruitment rally in Jammu & Kashmir for candidates from Srinagar from April 4 to 12, 2017. In addition to that, there will be a second phase of Army recruitment for candidates from Jammu on May 6, 2017, and it will end by May 22, 2017. Interested candidates who have successfully completed class 10 and class 12 can apply for the recruitment rallies.
Indian Army is carrying out this recruitment process to select interest and eligible candidates to the post of Tradesman, Clerks, Soldier GD, and other posts. Indian Army officials stated that they would be holding recruitment rally in all districts of Jammu and Kashmir under ARO Srinagar and ARO Jammu.
Officials also hinted that these rallies will be conducted on a massive scale at separate venues and it will be held district-wise. Some of the districts that will be covered are Leh, Shopian, Kupwara, Kulgam, Ganderbal, Baramulla, Budgam, Bandipora, Anantnag, Udhampur, Samaba, Reasi, Rajouri, Ramban, Poonch, Kishtwar, Doda, and Kathua.
The Indian Army has allotted separate venues for the recruitment rallies at ARO Srinagar and ARO Jammu. The pre-decided venue for ARO Srinagar rally is Baramulla and Pattan, while the venue for ARO Jammu recruitment rally is Jammu and Akhnoor.
The recruitment rally conducted by the Indian Army is actually a unique chance for all interested and eligible applicants in Jammu and Kashmir to secure jobs in the Indian Army. Candidates who are planning to apply for the post of Soldier GD should have successfully cleared class 10 with a minimum of 45 percent aggregate mark in all subjects. In addition to that, the candidate should also have scored a minimum of 33 percent marks in each individual subjects.
The last date of submitting applications for recruitment rally is April 20, 2017. The applications submitted after this deadline will be discarded by the Indian Army and such applicants will not be considered to take part in the Army recruitment program.
