The Indian Army recently issued an official notification inviting candidates for recruitment to the Bengal Engineer Group, Corps of Engineers, Indian Army under Unit Headquarter Quota. The post of SOL CLK/SKT/IM in Indian Army will be exclusive to sons of War Widows, Servicemen, and Ex-Servicemen. Additionally, real brothers of Ex-Servicemen, Servicemen, and sportsmen of both National and International level can also apply for the post.
The Indian Amy will be conducting the recruitment program from 15 to 19 May 2017 and the gate opening time is scheduled to be in between 04:30 AM to 05:30 AM. The officials from the recruitment program have announced that candidates who appear for the recruitment rally after 05:30 AM will not be allowed to take part in the Army recruitment process. The Indian Army is inviting eligible candidates for the pot of Soldier Technical, Soldier General Duty, Soldier TDN, and Soldier CLK/SKT/IM.
Candidates who are planning to apply for the post of Soldier Technical should have successfully cleared 12th standard in Science stream with English, Maths, Chemistry, and English. In addition to that, the candidate must also have secured a minimum aggregate of 50% marks along with 40% in each subject.
Candidates who are applying for the post of Soldier General Duty should have passed class tenth with a minimum aggregate of 45% marks. In addition to that, the applicant should also have secured a minimum of 33% marks in each individual subject. The stipulation of securing 45% marks is waived off for candidates who have successfully completed class 12th.
Candidates who want to join Army as Washer Man and Support Staff should have successfully passed class 10th in any stream. Interested candidates who have managed to pass class 6th can apply for the post of Housekeeper in the Indian Army.
On the other hand, candidates who are applying for the post of SOL CLK/SKT/IM should have completed their class 12th with a minimum percentage of 60% in all subjects. In addition to that, they should also have scored a minimum of 50% marks in Bookkeeping, Accounts, Maths, and English.
