The Indian Army is organizing a recruitment rally for enrolling male candidates from the North Eastern states of the country. The rally is scheduled to be held at the Bhagat Stadium in Rangapahar (Dimapur) from March 05 to 07. The primary focus of the rally is the youth of Nagaland and Manipur regions. Vacancies are available only for Naga/Kuki, Hill Tribes and Indian Gorkha under the Soldier General Duty category.
Willing candidates need to apply online through the official website of the Army recruitment. This facility for applying online is open from 25 January 2017 to 24 February 2017. Those candidates who have registered in the previous recruitment rally can also apply. They can log in directly into the site and check for their eligibility before applying for the said posts.
The admit cards for entry into the rally will be provided to the candidates through their emails as notified in the website. Candidates are strongly requested to bring this admit card for entry into the rally. Not complying with these instructions will result in exclusion from attending the Army recruitment rally.
Furthermore it is clarified that candidates can register and apply only once for the rally. Those found registering twice would be liable for rejection and their applications will be cancelled without any further consideration.
The screening of the applied candidates would be carried out based on the admit card date and the total number of applications that are registered. Candidates must strictly report at the rally site at 04:00 am as per the dates given on their admit card. Qualified army personnel of the Indian Army will supervise and conduct the rally for selecting the most physically and mentally eligible candidates for the intended posts.
Male candidates from Manipur will get their admit cards on March 05, 2017 for the tests. Moreover, Nagaland candidates will get their cards for the tests on the next day. The written exam for all the categories is carried out at APS Shillong on April 30, 2017.
The rally poster displayed at the DC offices in each state contains all the details regarding the educational qualifications, age criteria, required certificates, and other details. Candidates must check them thoroughly for any clarifications regarding the rally and the written tests.
