The Indian Army is planning to organize a three-day recruitment rally, exclusively for male candidates at five Technical training regiment camps and two Signal Training Centers. The aim of this Army recruitment rally is to find candidates for the post of general duty, tradesman, nursing, clerk, and soldier technical.
Even though the number of vacancies offered in Goa is 60, Indian Army is ready to recruit more candidates, if they fit the job description. Colonel Rahul Verma, director of Army Recruiting Office, Kolhapur, said, “Since Goa has been under-subscribed, we have been told to take as many as we can get, even if it is more than the prescribed number. It has been the trend that we have never been able to fill the number of vacancies that are there.”
The Indian Army recruitment wing is also inviting interested and eligible Law Graduates for the grant of Short Service Commission (SSC) for Judge Advocate General Branch. Unmarried women, and married or unmarried men would be eligible to apply for the above post.
The candidates in the age limit of 21 to 27 years as on 1 January 2016 can apply for the above post. Applicants should have a Law degree from a university or college recognized by the Bar Council of India. In addition to that, Law graduates must also have a minimum aggregate of 55 percent marks in LLB degree. The applying candidates must also be eligible for registering with the Bar Council of India or State.
Number Of Vacancies
The Indian Army is offering 20 vacancies for the grant of Short Service Commission (SSC) for Judge Advocate General Branch. Out of this, 13 vacancies are reserved for male candidates, and the rest of the posts are exclusive for female unmarried candidates.
