The Indian Army recently released a recruitment notification inviting interested and eligible candidates for the post of Tradesman Mate (Erstwhile Mazdoor trade), LDC, Fireman, and Material Assistant in the Indian Army. Candidates who are planning to apply for the above posts should submit their application on or before January 20, 2017. More details about the recruitment process are as follows.
The Indian Army is offering 115 vacancies for interested and eligible candidates for the post of Tradesman Mate, LDC, Fireman, and Material Assistant. A total of 97 vacancies are exclusive for Tradesman Mate post, whereas 10 vacancies are reserved for LDC post, 7 vacancies are for Material Assistant, and the remaining 1 vacancy is exclusive for Fireman post.
Candidates applying for the post of Tradesman Mate (Erstwhile Mazdoor trade) should have successfully completed tenth or should have an equivalent qualification from a recognized board. In addition to that, the candidate should also be proficient in Hindi language.
Candidates, who are planning to apply for the post of Fireman, should be a tenth pass or should have an equivalent qualification from a recognized board. On the other hand, Material Assistant (Erstwhile Supdt Store) candidates should have either a Diploma in Engineering in any discipline from a recognized institution or a Diploma in Material Management. However, candidates with graduate in any discipline from a recognized university are also eligible to apply for this post.
Interested candidates, who are planning to apply for the post of LDC in the Indian Army, should have successfully cleared their 12th or have an equivalent qualification from any recognized university/board in India. In addition to that, the candidate should also have a minimum English typing speed of 35 wpm and a minimum Hindi typing speed of 30 wpm on computer.
Interested and eligible candidates can submit their applications from December 24, 2016. Candidates should note that the last date for submitting the application is January 20, 2017, and applications submitted after this deadline would be discarded by the Army recruitment officials.
Candidates will have to initially undergo a written examination and physical test, if they are selected after evaluating their applications. The final selection of candidates to the above vacancies will be entirely based on their performance in both the tests.
