Officials from the Indian Army recently announced that they are conducting a recruitment rally for hiring eligible candidates for the post of Lower Division Clerk in the Army. They also advised interested and eligible aspirants to submit their applications before April 7, 2017. More details about this recruitment program are as follows.
Number Of Vacancies And Salary Range
The Indian Army recruitment wing is offering 3 vacancies for the post of Lower Division Clerk in the Army. Candidates who are selected by the recruitment officials for the above post will receive a pay of ₹ 19,900/- per month.
Candidates who are applying for the post of Lower Division Clerk should have successfully completed 12th from a recognized university or educational board in India. In addition to that, candidates should also have a minimum English typing speed of 35 w.p.m. on a computer or a Hindi typing speed of 30 w.p.m. on a computer.
The age limit set by the Indian Army for candidates who belong to the scheduled tribe is 18-30 years. On the other hand, candidates from other backward classes in the age limit of 18-28 years will be allowed to apply for the Army recruitment program.
The recruitment officials will initially review the applications submitted by the candidates. The candidates who are eligible for attending the recruitment program will be then asked to appear for the Army recruitment test. The selected candidates will undergo a written test, trade test, and a few more tests.
The selection of the candidates to the vacancy of Lower Division Clerk in the Indian Army will be entirely based on their performance in the recruitment tests. The selected candidates will be then stationed at Jabalpur.

Interested candidates who fulfill the above-mentioned eligibility criteria should send their applications along with the following documents.
- Two duly self-attested passport size photographs. Make sure to post one on the admit card and attach another one on the right-hand corner of your application.
- Self-attested copies of caste certificate and education qualification certificate
The applications must be sent to: The Commandant, 1 Signal Training Centre, Jabalpur (M.P.) – 482001 by registered post, and the envelope should be marked with “APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF LDC”. Make sure to note the fact that the Indian Army will discard the applications that are submitted after the deadline.
