Officials from the Indian Army recently issued an employment notification inviting eligible and interested candidates to apply for the 10+2 Technical Entry Scheme Course starting in Jan. 2018. The officials also stated that the Army recruitment would be exclusive to unmarried male candidates. The recruitment officials also announced that selected cadets would be eligible for receiving a monthly stipend of ₹ 21,000/-
Candidates who successfully complete the four-year course will be offered a Permanent Commission in the Indian Army with the rank of Lieutenant. In addition to that, the selected cadets will also receive free canteen facilities, mess/club/sports facilities, furnished government accommodations, housing/car loan at subsidized rate, and free medical facilities for self and dependents. The Indian Army is offering 90 posts to interested and eligible candidates to apply for to apply for the 10+2 Technical Entry Scheme Course.
Candidates who are planning to apply for the 10+2 Technical Entry Scheme Course should have successfully completed plus 2 or an equivalent examination by securing a minimum aggregate of 70 percent marks in mathematics, chemistry, and physics from a recognized education board in the country.
Candidates who are applying for the above course should not be above the age of 19½ years and below the age of 16½ years on the first day of the month, in which the Technical Entry Scheme Course will be commencing.
The applications submitted by the candidates will be thoroughly reviewed by the Army recruitment officials initially. The candidates who do not meet the necessary eligibility criterions will be discarded whereas candidates who meet the required eligibility criterion will be shortlisted and will be called to attend a medical examination and SSB interview. The selection of the candidates will be entirely based on their performance in the SSB interview and other tests.
