Indian Army Invites Applications For SSC Recruitment

The Indian Army has initiated SSC recruitment with the release of a new notification. The posts of Technical Officer 49th Course for Men and 20th Course for Women begins in October 2017. The submission of online applications for the SSC posts will begin from Jan 23.

The total number of vacancies offered for this position is 20 and the last date for submitting the online application forms is Feb 22. Indian citizens who satisfy the eligibility criteria listed below can apply for these positions within the stipulated deadline.

Eligibility Conditions

The applicant must be a graduate in any degree of Engineering having secured a minimum of 50% of marks under any recognized institution or University in India. However, those who are in their final year of studies can also apply for the post.

Both married and unmarried candidates are allowed to take part in the Army recruitment and must strictly be residents of India. The minimum age for applying to the SSC vacancy is 20 years and the maximum age is 27 years; which means candidates born between April 2, 1990, and April 1, 1997, can apply for the post.

The Army will carry out this selection process through its various recruitment bodies in different parts of the country. Interview is the primary selection criteria for the positions mentioned in the SSC tech notifications. The shortlisted candidates must attend the interview process in order to complete the selection process. Chosen candidates will receive an attractive salary package amounting to ₹ 21,000/- per month.

Applicants will also be required to upload a proper photograph and signature along with the application form. Furthermore, the candidates should duly examine their applications for any errors or mistakes before submitting into the site, as any error in the form could disqualify the candidature.

Shortlisted candidates should bring all essential documents related to their educational qualifications when appearing for the selection process. This includes attested copies of all certificates from matriculation to the degree examinations. The candidates should produce the originals of the certificates along with photocopies for verification purposes. A printout of the application form is to be included along with an attested photograph.
