Golden Chance For The Youth Of Uttar Pradesh To Join Army

The Indian Army recently announced their plans to conduct an Army recruitment program to hire eligible and candidates from Uttar Pradesh for multiple vacancies in the Army. The applicants should submit their applications in offline mode on or before September 10, 2017.

Indian Army recruitment officials have made it clear that the recruitment program will be exclusive to candidates from 13 districts of Uttar Pradesh including Sultanpur, Santakabir Nagar, Siddharth Nagar, Raebareli, Pratapgarh, Maharajganj, Kushinagar, Kaushambi, Faizabad, Basti, Amethi, Ambedkar Nagar, and Allahabad. The Army recruitment program will be conducted from October 25 to November 15, 2017, More details about the recruitment program are as follows.

Educational Qualifications

Candidates who are applying for the post of Soldier General Duty should have successfully completed 10th with a minimum percentage of 33 percent marks in each subject and an aggregate of 45 percent marks. The candidates who are from Sampurnanand Sanskrit Vishwa Vidyalaya, Varanasi should have also completed Purva Madhyam with English as a compulsory subject to apply for the post of Soldier General Duty.

Candidates applying for the vacancy of Soldier Clerk/Store Keeper Technical must have completed Plus 2 or an intermediate exam in Science, Commerce, or Arts with at least 50 percent in each individual subject and an aggregate mark of 60 percent. In addition to that, they should have also studied Math/Accounts/Bookkeeping and English at 12th or 10th level. Age Limit

Candidates who are in the age limit of 17½ to 23 years as on October 1, 2017, are eligible to apply for all the above-mentioned posts.

Selection Procedure

The recruitment officials from the Indian Army will initially review the application submitted by the candidates and the ones who satisfy the preset qualifications and criteria will be selected for the recruitment program. The selected candidates will then have to appear for a Common Entrance Examination and a few more tests. The selection of the candidates for the above posts will be based on their performance in these tests.
